HOW TO EXPORT YOUR GAME FILM FROM HUDL
A Hudl link helps identify the game. Get an authorized video export so your editor has a file to work with.
Find the game and check your access
Open the game in your team’s Hudl library. Note the date, teams and the athlete’s jersey number. You can add its share link to your private Highlight Machine order as a reference.
Ask for an authorized export
Hudl products and account roles have different controls. A player or parent who can watch a game may not be able to download it. If your library offers a download, save the video file. Otherwise, ask your coach, team administrator or the person who recorded it for an original export. Do not send us account passwords.
For administrators using League Exchange, Hudl documents a download icon on the selected match. That workflow is specific to League Exchange; it is not a promise that every Hudl share link can be exported.
Send editable footage
Upload the video file to your private order page, or share a file-service link with downloading permitted. A watch-only Hudl page does not give our editor an editable original.
Choose your clips or mark the moments you want. Tape Review is the optional service for reviewing up to five full games and choosing the plays. If you cannot get an export, contact support before relying on that footage for an order.
